What is a Collapsible Table?

A Collapsible Table is a table in its most functional form. It lets you have table space whenever you need it. And when you don’t, it folds away effortlessly and silently. What makes a Flipping table so remarkable is because of its patented FastLeg mechanism – the unique closing system created after 3 years of extensive research and development, and which ensures the highest performance levels and standards.

Even though a Flipping Table can be said to be a fine representation of Made-in-Italy elegance and style, we understand that everyone has their own unique interior design needs. Thus, each Flipping Table can be fully made to order. Our bespoke solutions let you choose the dimensions, model structure, material, finishing and color of your Flipping Table. Contact us today for a tailored solution!

Accessories

The shock absorber kit comes as an optional accessory for all tables. It is a system that allows the self-controlled closure of the folding table to provide additional convenience and ease. After unlocking the two structures, the table slowly reaches the closed position and is a necessary safety protection for families with young children.

Laminated and Lacquered finishes

(i) Lacquered board

Medium density board, lacquered on both-sides, OECE varnished on polyester substrate. The lacquered board has a superior finishing that gives a good touching feeling with all rounded edges.

The standard colors available for the lacquered finishing are: white (RAL 9010), red (RAL 3003) and black (RAL 9011). It is possible to have a custom color for the lacquered finishing by choosing from the RAL Color Chart.

(ii) Laminated board

Laminate is a phenol or melamine finish applied to a wood-based board. It has excellent technical characteristics and it is easy to keep clean. It consists of a series of sheets of resin glued together to create a thickness of about 0.6 mm.

We use high pressure laminates (HPL), a material compliant with EN 438/1 standards that offers excellent water-repellence and resistance properties.

The standard colors available for the laminated finishing are white (laminate ARPA 0001), red (laminate ARPA 0571 oriental red) and black (laminate ARPA 0509). It is possible to have a custom colour for the laminate finishing by choosing from the ARPA Color Chart.

(iii) Other materials

Apart from the lacquered and laminated boards, our Italian partner also offers exquisite finishing using tempered glass (Colour Chart here), full stainless steel or solid wood blocks to meet different needs and uses. Find out how these different materials can help you transform and shape your home!

Useful information:

Most tables designed for writing or dining should be 28″ to 30″ high (29″ is common) with chair seats 11″ to 13″ lower. Provide about 24″ of leg room below the table (height from floor to bottom of table rail) and at least 12″ for knee clearance (projection of table top beyond table leg). In figuring seating capacity, allow at least 24″ of elbow room width per person and 12″ to 15″ depth from the edge of the table.
